Healthy Families Roanoke Valley is asking the community for $10 gift card donations to help area families. The organization, which provides family support and coaching for local parents, is asking for gift card donations to Kroger and Walmart to provide for these families in need.  (Gift cards, or donations, of any amount will also be accepted.)

The drive will be held Memorial Day until the end of July 2022, and will allow families to purchase specific items to meet their own needs.

“Families are struggling to make ends meet,” Lisa Denny, Director of Prevention says. “Every little bit truly does help our low income working families. A $10 gift card may not seem like much, but it can make a difference in grocery or gas needs for a local family.”

Gift cards can be dropped off to the Children’s Trust offices at 4519 Brambleton Avenue, Suite 110, Roanoke VA 24018. E-Gift cards can be sent to Lisa Denny, Healthy Families Roanoke Valley Program Director to: lisa.denny@roact.org

Online donations will also be accepted via our secure link HERE. Gift cards will be purchased with all donated funds raised during this campaign.
